The coil is totally enclosed with a top entrance for the antenna whip.2.5 MM
THE SALE IS FOR THE GAIN COIL ONLY & NOT A WHIP

This part is ideal for those that wish to install the equipment themselves
and
improve both the receiver and transmit range of their two way radio.
We advise that any whips are cut longer than required
and
a thru line meter is used to fine tune to the radio set after installation.
