The sale is for 10 double sided mirror pads, commonly used for interior mirror's, Taxi camera's, radio mic clips and GPS mouse antenna's

We use them here for sticking the small camera's in position, typically on the front window screen, the larger camera's need two. We also use them for positioning of the GPS mouse antenna's.
Each pad is individual and has a polythene cover on one side and a paper cover on the reverse.
The manufacturer's recommend that 24hr is required for the glue to "CURE" without movement, but normally we give them 1/2hr on small camera's (please see our instruction's below, regarding application - important).
We cannot guarantee that these will work for you or for all applications
This is a cheap and easy method of re - installing your camera's or mirror back into your vehicle.
(Please remember if your item is heavy and cannot be held in place for 24 hrs an alternative product may be better)
BEFORE YOU BUY: Do not buy these item if you are unsure on how to use them , all pads can be difficult use and the adhesive can be lost very quickly by a bad or an unclean surface or fingers touching.
They don't like shiney dash board polish, oil, grease or dirt. An abrasive clean dry rough surface is best. See instructions.
They will also pull off, if when attached and then tried to move. We use them for attaching CCTV cameras in Taxi's, but they can be used for mirror's etc subject to the weight of the mirror, if in doubt get an expert.
HOW WE FIT THEM:
The front camera's are normally mounted on the front window screen on the passenger side. Make sure the surface is clean, ie. not just looks clean. Remove all material if a previous sticker has been in place. We use methylated spirits, this removes both dirt and any oil residue. Especially Glam polish on dash boards.
Allow the Methylated spirited to dry, preferably in a warm enviroment, once this is achieved, wipe the area again with a dry tissue.
Clean the back of the camera or its mount in a similar way and make sure the bracket is also warm. (the glue doesn't like cold temperature)
(We normally run the cab with the heater onto the windscreen for 15 mins to warm both surfaces up and then just wipe before applying.)
Wire your camera into your cab so it is in the position you require, apply the pad or pads to the rear of the unit, making sure your finger's aren't touching the glue on the pad (I know it's difficult?)
Rip off the remain strip and apply to the clean window, if it's a small camera it will stay probably with out any support, if it's a large old type you may need to prop it up for 24 hrs.
Don't worry if you get it wrong you've got another 9 to play with - cheap as chips.
We also offer hoop and loop technology from VELCRO, DURACO & OPEK which is the same principle but will allow you to detach the unit, The same procedure should be taken as above.
