PL259 CONNECTOR - 6mm
This PL 259 connector is rated at 50 Ohms for use on PMR Taxi two way radio's and CB radio's
The connector allows a standard RG 58 cable of 6 mm entry. typical cables are RG58 u & RG 58 cx
This will allow the individual to replace worn or broken connector on site, the connector has an internal rivit/thread to allow the cable to be screwed into the connector to retain the cable.
How ever we do advise that the centre core is soldered for a better connection.
THE CONNECTION WOULD IDEALLY BE SOLDERED AT THE CENTER PIN FOR A BETTER CONNECTION, BUT THIS IS SUBJECT TO HAVING A SOLDERING IRON AVAILABLE.
FOLDING THE CENTER WIRE BACK WOULD ALLOW A TEMPORARY CONNECTION.
The cable entry is a 6mm hole ideal for RG58 cable (standard antenna/taxi mobile)
We have these available in single, packs of 5 and packs of 10 - also the crimp version.
